Mohammed has over 25 years of experience in the Technology and Technology investment space. Currently the Managing Partner of Nama Ventures, a seed stage fund focused on fueling tech innovation in MENA, particularly in KSA.
Mohammed has more than 45 investments under his belts from preseed opportunities, to late stage to even funds. With portfolio companies achieving global top 10 unicorn status.
Previously Mohammed was the Managing Director of Tharwa Capital, a Dubai based financial investment and advisory firm focusing on technology equity markets. Mohammed was also leading the Venture Capital practice at Global Investment House, a Kuwait based investment company. Prior to that, he was the Director of technology investments at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA).
Mohammed has many entrepreneurial endeavors, most noticeably the founder and CEO of Sulaf Solutions, a tech solutions provider based in Silicon Valley, USA.
Mohammed has worked and consulted for blue chip technology companies including Cisco System, Wilson Sonsini, Sun Microsystems, American Express, & Excite@Home.
Mohammed is an active Angel investor, member of Sand Hill Angels, founding member of Riyadh Angel Investors, Advisor to Woman Spark, and a founding board member of Techwadi.
Mohammed is a mentor to many regional technology companies and an advisor with In5 incubator in Dubai and Oasis 500 incubator in Jordan.
Mohammed obtained his MBA from London Business School, has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University, and holds various technical certifications including CCIE, MCSE, CCSP, and MCDBA
