The “last mile” refers to the final stage of the delivery process that ends with the customer or consumer. We play in a billion-dollar market and one of the key drivers of last mile deliveries is the rise in e-commerce. According to a report by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) , the e-commerce market in Africa was estimated to be at least $29B by 2022. According to Statista the e-Commerce industry in Nigeria has a market size of $9B with an annual growth rate of 11.74% resulting in a market value of $14B by 2027.
The last mile logistics business opportunity in Africa is significant, as the continent’s logistics infrastructure is still developing, and the demand for efficient and reliable delivery services is on the rise.
